We were in Ireland at the Cliffs of Moher, described as 700+ ft dropoffs over the Atlantic Ocean. It's beautiful! We were there for about 30 minutes before the proposal took place. The whole time we're enjoying this beautiful scenery, my mind is racing! I'm constantly replaying the things my friends and coworkers had said to me, "He's gonna propose! It'll be in Ireland!" This was our last real stop before we left for Dublin to fly back home. So I'm just praying that I can clear my head and focus on enjoying that moment...trying to forget how wonderful it would be if he would just do it already! After taking pictures of numerous Kodak moments, Brad takes my left hand and slowly removes my glove. I asked what he was doing, and then noticed a grin like no other on his face! And that's when my voice went high, and I said, "You're doing it, aren't you? You're really doing it?!" And with that Brad knelt down and said the most real and romantic things I've ever heard. After I cried "yes", we shared a romantic moment or two and then started down for the observatory to share the news. A mother and daughter passing us pointed at the other couple (who we met on the tour) and said, "That couple down there just proposed!" I held up my hand and said, "So did he!" This called for more Kodak moments! Two couples...one from the South and the other from the North....on the same tour in Ireland...got engaged at the same place at the same time! We went down to the observatory and shared the great news! They announced it over the intercom and took tons of pictures of us to use in their brochures. It was great! Of course, Lisa (the other bride-to-be) and I raided the gift shop being that we'll probably never be here again. All four of us stepped on the bus to the sound of cheers and clapping! Our bus driver, John, shared his testimony that he's never witnessed an engagement in the 14 years he's been touring Ireland!
